Plumbing and Heating Course DetailsThe Plumbing Academy will provide you with a series of flexible modules of training, which are spent at our facilities throughout your plumbing and heating course. During this time you’ll be taught by our high-quality teaching staff with a wealth of experience in the plumbing industry.
We will cover the basics, including how to use copper fittings and pipework, install hot water cylinders and water tanks, airing cupboards and install a bathroom suite complete with hot and cold pipework, sanitation plus install and connect central heating radiators. On your plumbing and heating course you will also test and purge domestic gas installations, work on combustion, flue and ventilation controls for gas appliances, install gas pipe work and domestic gas appliances including cookers, fires and boilers and the commissioning and servicing of domestic gas appliances.
Who Should Apply?The plumbing and heating course includes the Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing, the WRAS certificate, the Unvented Systems Certification, the Logic Gas Foundation Course, and the ACS assessment. We can also help you to register for your Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing.
