Professional Plumber Course: OverviewThis plumber course represents perhaps the most extensive form of training a beginner can receive to become a professional plumber, going further than that of a standard plumbing course. The professional plumber course contains all the qualifications you will need, working from the beginning learning about how to fit copper and plastic pipework to gaining your NVQ level 2. With that you’ll be able to gain your PHMES card and gain lucrative employment with plumbing contractors, Housing Associations and Local Authorities.
In addition to this the course also includes two vital electrician qualifications – the Part P Domestic Electrical Installer and 17th Edition Wiring Regulations. These qualifications will extend your resume even further, providing you with work opportunities that would otherwise need the assistance of an experienced electrician.
After completing this plumber course you will be a fully qualified City & Guilds plumber, allowing you to find work with a plumbing firm or even make the steps to start your own business. While it is also a quick and highly effective way of gaining your plumbing qualifications back-to-back, the course can also be split up and studied at a schedule more suited to your needs and working arrangements. If you would like to find out more about how this works, get in contact with us and we’ll be happy to tell you more.

Guaranteed Work Assessment for your NVQIn order to become “fully qualified” in the eyes of future employers, you’ll need the NVQ 2 qualification. To attain this, a trainee plumber’s skills must be fully evaluated in a proper working environment. This plumbing course provides you with a guaranteed work assessment to complete the NVQ Diploma Level 2 in Plumbing and fully covers the criteria needed to complete the qualification. You’ll find you’ll be able to complete your plumbing course in a matter of days.
Get Part P QualifiedIn order to fully complete jobs such as bathroom suite installations, you will require electrical qualifications so that you can perform tasks such as installing lighting or power showers. This is why we have included two vital electrical qualifications on this course.
The electrical training you will complete on the Professional Plumbing course includes the Part P qualification and the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations, both needed in order to successfully join a Competent Person Scheme. Following this you will then be able to inspect and self-certify your own electrical installations. Normally with this you would need a third-party inspector to come and sign off the work, potentially costing you hundreds in additional fees.
The electrical training portion of the course can be studied before or after your NVQ 2 work assessment, just let us know which you’d prefer and we’ll adapt your course to suit you.
