PAT Testing Course OverviewA Portable Appliance Testing (or PAT testing) qualification is a vital for any electrician looking to begin or further their career, so the Plumbing Academy are pleased to offer candidates the City & Guilds 2377 Portable Appliance Testing Course. As the Electricity at Work Regulations Act (1989) states all electrical systems must be appropriately maintained to prevent danger, this electrician course will enable students to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to be able to implement inspection and testing programmes applicable to portable electrical appliances.
It is worth noting that there are two City & Guild PAT testing qualifications and you will need both to progress in this field. The 23377-22 PAT testing qualification provides you with a recognised qualification in portable appliance testing procedures and the 2377-32 covers the management Requirements for the Maintenance of Electrical Equipment.
