Fundamental Electrical Inspection & Testing Course
2392 Course OverviewThe City & Guilds 2392 course provides applicants with an introduction to the inspection and testing of electrical appliances. This Level 2 electrician course also provides you with the foundations needed to go on to gain the Level 3 2395 qualification, which is among the most highly regarded qualifications an electrician can achieve.
You’ll be taught by experienced electricians in both classroom and workshop scenarios that will fully prepare you for assessment. This will take place in one of the Plumbing Academy’s state-of-the-art training centres, located within easy access of London, South Wales, South-East England, and the South West.

- Electrical Testing
- Requirements for Electrical Installation (IEE Regulations) 17th Edition
- IEE On-site Guide; BS 7671: 2008 IEE Wiring Regulations 17th Edition
- The IEE Guidance Note 3
Who Should Apply?While there are no formal entry requirements for the course, it is aimed at those with existing electrical knowledge and so experience as an electrician would be a distinct advantage. It is suitable is for practicing electricians who have not had the opportunity of carrying out inspection and testing in their day to day work, and require some updated training before advancing onto a Level 3 qualification.
