Core Domestic Gas Safety Assessment
OverviewThe most important part of reaching the status of a fully-qualified gas engineer is being able to do the work safely and legally. This course contains a number of Domestic Gas Safety ACS assessments, which is made up of a core safety assessment (CCN1) and then a number of smaller optional appliance assessments.
This course is ideal for both new gas engineers and existing ones whose skills need an update, as refresher training is also available. The course lasts between 3 and 5 days, depending if the refresher training is needed or not.
Course DetailsThe core safety assessment (CCN1) covers the following areas;
- Gas Safety Legislation
- Gas Emergency Action and Procedures
- All necessary safety aspects when installing, maintaining and testing gas systems
- Identifying unsafe situations
Who Should Apply?This course is suited for Gas Safe engineers who need to renew their ticket or students who have completed their gas portfolios.
