Harvested rainwater can be directly used for a variety of purposes such as: flushing the toilet, washing clothes, cleaning cars and watering the garden. With additional treatment rainwater can also be used for washing dishes, showers or baths, and drinking. Having your own store of rainwater makes your household independent of the mains water supply and allows you to water your garden when there is a hosepipe ban.
The objective of the Rainwater Harvesting Training Course (run over 2 days) is to train existing plumbers to properly design, install and maintain rainwater harvesting systems.
The Rainwater Harvesting Training Course will introduce installers to the different types of rainwater harvesting and point-of-use systems that they may encounter in the UK marketplace. It must be noted that such a course will emphasise common system configurations that most installers are likely to encounter.
