The Plumbing Academy is pleased to announce the opening of its purpose-built ACS training and assessment centre. Approved by City & Guilds and BPEC, The gas centre has a specifically designed workshop, incorporating the very latest technology in terms of appliances and general workshop equipment, as well as dedicated, self-contained training and assessment bays. The centre's administration has also been organised to allow a smoother flow of candidates and to facilitate a faster verification process. This ensures candidates get their certificate quicker after successful assessment.

With the ACS Gas Safety Certification Scheme nearing the end of another full five-year term, and many gas engineers who hold ACS certificates for CCN1 plus appliances, approaching their renewal date, the need for a swift re-assessment professionally delivered in a supportive environment has never been more important.

With this in mind we offer a faster way to re-assessment, this more practical approach has been designed by CORGI with the intention of speeding up the assessment process. For example, a gas engineer who takes the initial route through CCN1 plus three appliances, along with some preparatory training, can be off the road for around 10 days. Whereas taking the new re-assessment route offered by The Plumbing Academy can produce a significant saving in time, thus reducing the time you will be away from your customers.
