As has already been mentioned there has never been a better time to qualify as a Gas Engineer; for anyone with previous plumbing experience there are a great many possibilities for learning and the opportunity to enter into a successful and rewarding career.

The first step towards this new career path is our ten week Gas Foundation Course. This well detailed and expertly taught programme of training and assessment will provide an excellent platform on which to build your new career. Once this course has been undertaken and a work portfolio has been assembled you will become eligible to be assessed for a CCN1 certification. Once this level has been achieved you will then be classed as a CAT 1 individual and be eligible for Gas Safe registration.

From this moment on you will be legally certified to work on gas fired installations. From here the profession opens up into a variety of fields and specialisations allowing you to earn qualifications in areas such as Domestic Gas Cooking Appliances and Domestic Gas Heating Appliances, with many more qualifications readily available.

Whichever specialisations you choose to pursue, you will soon realise that this trade is both vast and varied, with opportunities for a variety of different business models and operations, allowing its members to truly excel.
