There is an online, multiple choice (GOLA) exam (C&G 2377-12) at the end of the course which confirms to the industry that an individual is qualified to undertake this testing to a competent level.

At the end of the course the students are assessed with an online, multiple choice (GOLA) exam.

Textbook: IEE Code of Practice for in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment.
There are no specific entry requirements for this course, however it is primarily aimed at electrical or non-electrical personnel who have some responsibility for or who would like to get involved in the maintenance of electrical appliances.
