The Plumbing Academy specialises in
plumbing courses,
gas training,
electrical courses and
renewable energy training for existing tradespeople and people who are considering plumbing as a career for the first time.
Plumbing is a career choice that will always be in demand, from building sites to small domestic work there will always be the need for reliable trades people. According to the
Government Construction Skills Network Labour Market Intelligence Report 2010-2014, there will be a skills shortage in plumbing and 4300 plumbers will be needed in the UK by 2014.
A plumbing course will provide the essential hand skills and technical knowledge to allow you to undertake a wide range of jobs; from installing bathrooms to collecting the rainwater from the roof of your house, you will be prepared. Expert plumbing training also sets the foundation for the rest of your career, whether you’re looking to be a heating engineer or a renewable energy expert, this is the place to start. Plumbing also offers you the opportunity to set up your own business and be your own boss.
There has never been a better time to enter the plumbing industry; the opportunities for learning and the possibilities of a successful career have never been more available. As the UK commits to more and more 'green energy' efficiency measures to reduce our carbon footprint, there are incredible opportunities for specialist roles in plumbing,
solar,
ground and air source heat pumps,
underfloor heating and
rainwater harvesting. This is because 82% of the energy used in the home is under the control of the plumber and there are now strict Government targets and initiatives to develop green measures even further.
The Plumbing Academy offers you a full range of comprehensive training programmes from DIY courses to internationally recognised plumbing and heating industry qualifications.
