City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 [Full Time]

One Year
OverviewCourse DetailsWho should Apply?Course Cost
This qualification is usually obtained after completion of the City & Guilds 6129 Level 3 Technical Certificate.

It consists of a series of assessments taking place outside of the Plumbing Academy training centre to test your competency as a plumber in the marketplace. We have own fully qualified assessors who travel to you to assess the work you are doing. This can be anywhere within a 60 mile radius of Edenbridge,  ( there is a slightly higher cost for jobs further a field).  On average it takes a competent person between 3 and 4 visits to cover all the areas required in order to qualify for the NVQ. Obtaining both the City & Guilds 6129 Technical Certificate and the NVQ is what companies look for when they are seeking fully qualified advanced plumbers and heating engineers.

Students are required to demonstrate their ability to schedule, monitor and run a number of jobs from start to finish. This is a great foundation for all those looking to step into a supervisory role or run their own business.

The Plumbing Academy is an Approved Training Centre for City & Guilds. Located within easy travelling distance of Kent, Sussex, Surrey, London and Essex, we offer both the training facilities and the ability to assess you on site.

NOTE: City and Guilds are combining the 6129 Technical Certificate with the 6089 NVQ to make the City & Guilds 6189 Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing and Heating and we will be offering this course when the change-over takes place.
